The U18 European Championship Qualifier 2019 in Sundbyberg, Sweden concluded the preliminary round on Friday with two games. Belgium edged out Israel 14-13 in a thriller to earn a spot in the final. Belgium scored five runs in the bottom half of the seventh to turn a huge deficit around in the last frame. Israel still managed to reach the final thanks to Sweden’s 6-2 win over Great Britain in the second game on Friday. Israel, Great Britain and Sweden were locked in a three-way tie. But Israel prevailed in the TQB and will meet Belgium again in the final.
