U18 European Championship Qualifier 2019 in Sundbyberg: Results July 11, 2019

On the second to last day of the preliminary round two more games were played at the U18 European Championship Qualifier 2019 in Sundbyberg, Sweden on Thursday. Great Britain edged out Israel 7-6. After Israel took a 4-1 lead after the first, the British squad crawled back. They tied the game in the sixth and scored the game-winner in the top of the seventh inning. James Warren drove in five runs for GB. Belgium blew by Switzerland 13-0 in the second game of the day. For Switzerland the tournament is over with a 1-3 record. Belgium, Great Britain and Israel are tied at 2-1. Belgium is facing Israel on Friday.
