The French Baseball and Softball Federation (FFBS) announced the second edition of the Achille Challenge, the France International Fastpitch Softball Tournament. The tournament will take place in Evry from June 21 to 23 as warm-up event for the Women’s Softball European Championship in Ostrava, Czech Republic in the early July. After Germany won the first Achille Challenge two years ago with Great Britain also participating, France now invited the U19 National Team from the United States as well as the U20 National Team from Japan to the tournament. France will face Czech Republic, Sweden, Belgium, Slovakia and Lithuania in Group A of the Women’s Softball Euros.
