The TENERIFE MARLINS, the FC BARCELONA and CB SANT BOI stayed undefeated after the second game day of the Division de Honor in Spain. BARCA celebrated two shutouts over SAN INAZIO, as Homer Baez struck out 15 in an eleven-inning complete game shutout in game on Saturday. Pedro Belmonte matched Baez with a six-hitter one day later. The MARLINS took two victories from EL LLANO.
SANT BOI narrowly beat VALENCIA in game one, but crushed the ninth-ranked team from last year in the second match. Their local rivals from CB VILADECANS pulled off a similar result, defeating NAVARRA with one run on Saturday, before celebrating a lopsided 17-2 win on Sunday. PAMPLONA and VIGO split their twin bill. In the first game Patrice Briones struck out ten in a shutout. In the second game, HALCONES blew an 11-0 lead, but won anyway on a RBI double by Alejandro Carrillo in the top of the ninth.
