A couple of weeks 40-year-old Australian reliever Peter Moylan announced that he is retiring from Major League Baseball and that he is continuing his career in Italy. Now he is going to play in the Czech Extraleague for Draci Brno. The right-hander got in contact with Draci through Brno’s pitching coach John Hussey a fellow Australian. Moylan had been pitching in the big leagues since 2006. He is continuing playing to make the roster for the Australian National Team, trying to qualify for the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020. He had an ERA of 3.10 in 499 MLB games for the Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers and Kansas City Royals.
