The French Baseball and Softball Federation (FFBS) announced that former pitcher Patrice Briones has been appointed as new manager of the French U12 National Team. The longtime national team player, who won a bronze medal with France at the 1999 European Championship, retired from his active career following the 2014 European Championship. He is succeeding Williams Casacoli.
