The Czech Extraleague opened the 2018 season this past weekend. On Friday Draci Brno and Arrows Ostrava celebrated lopsided shutouts over Olympia Blansko and Skokani Olomouc. On Saturday the Tempo Titans Prague and Cardion Hrosi Brno edged out the Trebic Nuclears respective Technika Brno. The Eagles Prague won the derby against Kotlarka Prague. Draci also won the return game against Blansko. On Sunday Kotlarka got payback and rebounded for a win over the Eagles. Trebic downed the Tempo Titans. Hrosi blew by Technika.
