International Sports Group Coaches Development program in Kutno, Poland, was a great success. Seventy-two (72) coaches were in attendance. ISG instructors Bill Mathews Team Leader, Pat Doyle and Jeff Krushell did seventeen (17) hours of baseball and conditioning instruction over two and a half days.Pat Doyle covered infield, pitching, throwing and practice organization…Jeff discussed stretching, movement, speed/acceleration and general strength. Bill Mathews covered skill set lineup development, infield/outfield coordination, catching, outfield play, base running and hitting. The gymnasium in Kutno was 6500 square feet which allowed plenty of room to show some drills and get the coaches involved. We also utilized classroom space at the Little League Regional Headquarters in Kutno for more theoretical, philosophical and “skull session’ materials. Christopher Sweeney, the President of the Polish Baseball and Softball Federation, said that this clinic was by far and away the best he had attended in his 14 years in baseball/softball in Poland.
