Eric Segura, Jorge Balboa, Edison Valerio leave CB Barcelona

Three key players are leaving CB Barcelona in the Spanish Division de Honor. Eric Segura and Edison Valerio are joining the Astros Valencia, while Jorge Balboa is going to the Tenerife Marlins. Segura batted .294/.410/.460 with four home runs, 17 runs and 17 RBI for Barcelona in 24 games in 2017, while Valerio hit .312/.496/.452 with three home runs, 26 runs and 14 RBI in 28 games. Balboa had an 8-3 record with an ERA of 3.80 in 13 starts. He struck out 77 and walked 46 in 85 1/3 innings.
