Reigning Italian Baseball League champion Rimini has added 24-year-old catcher Phildrick Llevellyn and 24-year-old first baseman Jesus Ustariz for next year’s campaign. Llevellyn is a former minor leaguer, who is currently playing for the WBSC team in the Asia Winter Baseball League in Taiwan. He was in the extended roster of the Netherlands for the 2017 World Baseball Classic, but didn’t make the cut. Ustariz is a Venezuelan with Spanish passport, who impressed during the 2016 European Championship.
