Antonio Noguera joins Bologna, Paolino Ambrosino returns to Nettuno

Posted on November 22, 2017 by philipp

In a meeting with the Italian press Unipol Bologna president Stefano Michelini confirmed that import players Raul Rivero, Osman Marval and Jose Flores will return to Bologna for the 2018 season. A decision about additional foreign imports will be made as soon as the format for next year’s campaign in the Italian Baseball League will be known.

Meanwhile he also mentioned that Spanish-Italian pitcher Antonio Noguera is going to transfer from CUS Brescia to Bologna. This past season he went 5-6 with an ERA of 1.16 in 13 starts, while striking out 142 in 93 1/3 innings, walking six. On the departure site Paolino Ambrosino has decided to leave Bologna to return to his home town Nettuno. He batted .339 with two home runs and four doubles in 20 games for Fortitudo in 2017.
