Baseball New Zealand on short list to join Australian Baseball League

Posted on November 14, 2017November 14, 2017 by philipp

After Monday’s announcement that the Australian Baseball League is looking to expand from six to eight teams for the 2018/2019 season, it got known that Baseball New Zealand got offered a spot on the short list for the expansion. The ABL team in New Zealand would be placed in Auckland. A ballpark still needs to be built, but a possible spot in the ABL probably would help to find the funding.
