Baseball League Austria: Athletics Attnang-Puchheim with 2-0 lead in Semifinals

The semifinals in the Baseball League Austria got underway this past weekend. The “Bim Series” between the two Vienna based clubs Metrostars and Wanderers is tied after the first two games. The Metrostars prevailed 12-10 on Friday evening with the Wanderers rebounding with an 8-5 victory on Saturday. Meanwhile defending champion Athletics Attnang-Puchheim defeated the Stock City Cubs 7-4 and 5-4 in a doubleheader on Saturday and need just one more win to return to the Austrian Baseball Finals.
