French Baseball Finals: Templiers Senart win Game one on Felix Brown’s Walk-Off Double

The Senart Templiers have won game one of the French Division I Finals on Saturday evening. They defeated reigning champion Rouen Huskies 4-3 on a walk-off RBI double by Felix Brown in the bottom of the ninth. A RBI double by Leo Jiminian in the bottom of the eighth had tied the game at 3-3 after Rouen had taken a 3-2 lead through a two-run home run by Larry Infante in the top of the frame. Owen Ozanich allowed three runs (1 ER) on nine hits and walk in seven-plus innings, striking out 10. Dan Urbina conceded five hits, a run and two base on balls in 7 1/3 innings. Matthieu Brelle-Andrade received the win in relief, Yoann Vaugelade the loss.
