Tenerife Marlins win Spanish Division de Honor Championship

Posted on July 25, 2017July 25, 2017 by philipp

The Spanish Division de Honor Baseball is already in the books for a couple of days. The Tenerife Marlins have won the championship for the ninth time in team history. They secured the Spanish baseball title thanks to winning three of four games this season against last year’s winner Astros Valencia, as both teams finished with the same 22-6 record. CBS Sant Boi and CB Barcelona ended up in third and fourth in the final standings. The Marlins now have moved into sole possession of second place in the all-time ranking in Spanish baseball, trailing only Viladecans, which has 21 titles in team history.
