Challenge de France: Montpellier, Senart reach Finals

The defending champion at the Challenge de France got dethroned. The Templiers Senart beat the Rouen Huskies 9-4 in the semifinals on Saturday afternoon. Leo Jiminian and Felix Brown hit home runs to lead the Templiers. Dylan Barrow pitched a complete game. Senart erased a 0-3 deficit in the process.

In the second semifinal earlier on the day the Montpellier Barracudas blew by the Clermont-Ferrand Arvernes 16-5. Alex Carter went 4-for-4 with two home runs, two doubles, four runs scored and five RBI. Mael Zan also went deep and drove in four.
