In the Italian Baseball League three games were on the schedule on Friday. Unipol Bologna edged out Rimini 2-1. A RBI groundout by Jose Flores and a solo home run by Alex Sambucci helped Bologna to turn a 0-1 deficit into the win. Raul Rivero struck out eight in six scoreless innings for the win. Ricardo Hernandez got charged with the loss.

T&A San Marino prevailed 8-6 over Tommasin Padua. San Marino took a 4-3 lead in the third, but Padua tied the game in the seventh. San Marino then scored four runs in the last two frames to win the contest. Gabriele Ermini, Jose Ferrini and Luca Pulzetti had two RBI apiece for Bologna. Lucas Montalbetti scored twice and drove in two for Padua.

In the third matchup of the night Angel Service Nettuno defeated Novara 2-1. Ronald Uviedo pitched a complete game, allowing just six hits and an unearned run, while striking out 11. Ennio Retrosi and Leonardo Colagrossi scored in the third and fourth to support their pitcher. Jonnathan Aristil took the loss.
