Chinese Taipei is replacing Korea at the 2017 World Port Tournament in Rotterdam organizers have announced last weekend. Korea was supposed to make its debut at the Family Stadium, but had to withdraw its participation. Chinese Taipei meanwhile will play for the 12th time in the history of the tournament. They will now play their first game in the international baseball tournament in the Dutch port city on July 1 against the Netherlands. Also participating will be Cuba, Curacao and Japan. The WPT is being played through July 9.
