Austria releases Roster for Women’s Softball European Championship

The Austrian Baseball Federation (ABF) released their roster for the Women’s Softball European Championship in Bollate, Italy. 17 players were selected by head coach Lawrence Allen and his staff. Austria will play an exhibition game against Slovakia next Wednesday and will head to Venice for a training camp the weekend after. Austria, which claimed fifth place in the 2015 Softball Euros is looking to crack the top four this time around. They’ll face Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Israel in Pool C of first-round play.
