The French Baseball and Softball Federation (FFBS) revealed this week that Rene Leveret has concluded his professional baseball career. The former minor leaguer with the Minnesota Twins played in indy ball the past few years, suiting up for the Quebec Capitals between 2010 and 2016. Since 2012 he had been a member of the French National Team, participating in the 2012 and 2016 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers and the 2014 and 2016 European Championships.
