The German U12 National Team participated for the third straight year in the Beach City Baseball Academy Tournament in California this past weekend. After a 0-0 tie and wins over American travel teams Tsunami and BC Prospects they faced the selection from Japan in the semi-final. Nippon prevailed 10-0 and then went on to win the tournament. Germany’s U12, which is operated by the German Baseball Academy with head coach Georg Bull, used the tournament as preparation for this year’s U12 European Championship in Utrecht and the U12 Baseball World Cup in Tainan City.
