Honkbal Week Haarlem might not dead yet after all

Posted on February 4, 2017February 4, 2017 by philipp

The Royal Dutch Baseball and Softball Association (KNBSB) is working on a revival of the Honkbal Week Haarlem according to a report by Theo Plasschaert of the Haarlems Dagblad. KNBSB officials have been talking to the city of Haarlem to receive support for the organization of the bi-annual traditional international baseball tournament at Pim Mulier Stadium. The next edition would have been in 2018. However a few weeks ago the foundation, which had been organizing the tournament, announced that they no longer will organize the Honkbal Week due to financial imbalance of the last two editions in 2014 and 2016. But now there seems a glimmer of hope that the tourney is not dead yet.
