Posted on January 12, 2017January 12, 2017 by philipp

South Korea met for a gathering ahead of training camp in Seoul this week. Several members of the 28-man roster were at the preliminary meeting and got briefed on the upcoming training camp and the competition schedule. South Korea hosts a first round group with the Netherlands, Israel and Chinese Taipei in Seoul, starting on March 6. South Korea will travel to Okinawa, Japan for a training camp on February 12, which also includes exhibition games against the Yomiuri Giants and the Yokohama DeNa Baystars. After returning to their home country they will play three more practice games, apparently against other WBC opponents, which are not in their pool. Official WBC practice doesn’t start until March 1. How many Major League stars will be on their final roster will be decided in the coming weeks.
