Texas Rangers try to block 4 Players from World Baseball Classic

Posted on December 15, 2016December 15, 2016 by philipp

The Texas Rangers are looking to block the participation of four of their players at the 2017 World Baseball Classic. They have asked WBC, Inc. to deny approval for catcher Robinson Chirinos, shortstop Elvis Andrus, outfielder Shin-Soo Choo and right-hander Yu Darvish after injuries. If WBC, Inc. rejects the request it would be the player who decides about participating.
