46-year-old Dutch national team player Sharnol Adriana is continuing to coach in affiliated minor league ball. After spending the 2016 season with the Texas Rangers affiliate he was assigned to the Single-A team of the American League organization in Hickory for next year’s campaign. Together with the Netherlands he participated in numerous tournaments including the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games in Athens and Beijing. He had finished his playing career in 2014.
