Israel names Coaching Staff for 2017 World Baseball Classic

Team Israel has announced its coaching staff for the 2017 World Baseball Classic. Jerry Weinstein returns as manager, supported by bench coach Tom Gamboa, third base coach Jerry Narron, first base coach Nate Fish, pitching coach Andrew Lorraine and bullpen coach Alon Leichman. Numerous other persons are on the staff as well, including Justine Siegal, who is returning as mental skills coach.

Israel is placed into pool A during the first round of the WBC next spring, facing the Netherlands, Korea and Chinese Taipei in a pool of death at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea.
