Press Release Little League

The official dates for the 2017 Little League® World Series Tournaments were approved on Friday, Nov. 11, at the annual fall meeting of the Little League International Board of Directors.

“I am pleased to announce the Board of Directors has approved the schedule for our seven World Series tournaments in 2017,” said Stephen D. Keener, Little League President and CEO. “We look forward to another exciting season of Little League Baseball and Softball around the world with the culmination of the year celebrated at the International Tournament in July and August. These tournaments spotlight the hard work and dedication of our players, parents, and volunteers that can be found in thousands of communities throughout the year.”

The final phase of the 2017 International Tournament schedule begins on July 30 with four of the seven tournaments kicking off action, starting with the Little League Intermediate (50/70) Baseball Division and Senior League Baseball World Series, as well as the Junior League and Senior League Softball World Series.
