The Czech Baseball Association (CBA) has announced their roster for the upcoming U23 Baseball World Cup in Monterrey, Mexico. 24 players have been selected by a coaching staff headed by Pavel Chadim. The Czech Republic is currently preparing at home, which includes three exhibition games against fellow U23 Baseball World Cup participant Austria. Last Friday the Czech team won 17-0 in Vienna. This coming weekend they host them for a doubleheader in Brno. The Czech delegation departs on October 22 and will finish up training camp in Monterrey. Their first opponent will be Korea on October 28. With a strong result the Czech Republic can further bolster their position in the Men’s Baseball World Rankings, inching closer to the elusive Top 12.
