Following the announcement of Curacao Neptunus star Raily Legito, another Dutch infielder has announced his retirement after the Holland Series. 38-year-old shortstop Michael Duursma of L&D Amsterdam is ending his career. He will become Technical Manager at the Baseball Academy Kennemerland. Making his debut with HCAW in 1996 he won Dutch Hoofdklasse titles with the team from Bussum in 1996 and 1998 and won European Cups with Rotterdam, Hoofddorp and Amsterdam.
