MLB Postseason starts on Tuesday

Posted on October 4, 2016October 4, 2016 by philipp

Major League Baseball is entering the postseason on Tuesday evening with the first of two Wild Card Games. On Tuesday the Toronto Blue Jays take on the Baltimore Orioles, on Wednesday the San Francisco Giants travel to the New York Mets. The Division Series start on Thursday. A schedule (see below) was released through Sunday by Major League Baseball.

European Baseball or better Dutch Baseball is having quite some ties into the playoffs this year. Netherlands World Baseball Classic and Premier12 manager Hensley Meulens has reached the playoffs with the Giants. Players Xander Bogaerts (Boston Red Sox), Jonathan Schoop (Baltimore Orioles), Kenley Jansen (Los Angeles Dodgers), Pedro Strop (Chicago Cubs) and Jurickson Profar (Texas Rangers) are looking to go deep into October, trying to win the World Series. Spencer Kieboom (Washington Nationals), who made his MLB debut on Sunday, is not likely to make the postseason roster.
