The Swedish Baseball and Softball Federation (SBSF) has announced the roster for the European Championship in Hoofddorp. The coaching staff of head coach Rickard Reimer trusts mainly players from the Swedish Elitserien except for Peter Johannessen of the Mainz Athletics and Jacob Claesson of the Hamburg Stealers.
The main goal for Sweden is to remain in the A-Pool after needing to requalify last summer after a 11th place finish in 2014. Sweden is facing Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Russia and Great Britain in Group A of first-round play in Hoofddorp.
