The Leksand Lumberjacks and the Stockholm Monarchs will meet in the finals of the Swedish Elitserien. Leksand needed three games to beat the Sölvesborg Firehawks. Eddie Aucoin had pitched six strong innings for the Firehawks in game one of the best-of-three series to give them a 1-0 lead. However the Lumberjacks won 5-1 and 6-4 in games two and three to advance to the finals. Stockholm meanwhile swept the Rättvik Butchers 2-0, winning 8-6 and 10-5. The final series will be played next weekend in Leksand.
