The Italian Winter League finished its first phase last Sunday, as the preliminary rounds in the four stops of the indoor competition were completed. In the Emilia Romagna portion in Bologna, PARMA and CARPI secured the first two positions in the group B standings to join the ATHLETICS BOLOGNA and SALA BAGANZA in the playoffs, which will be held on March 1st.
In the Tuscany tournament two first round games still needs to be played, though the playoff participants are already known. NUOVA ROMA I, JUNIOR GROSSETO I and JUNIOR FIRENZE will compete for the regional title.
In the VENETO regional DYNOS VERONA and SAN MARTINO A secured the last two spots in the playoffs and will battle with SENAGO BASEBALL and PALLADIO VICENZA for the title next Sunday in Verona.
In Rovigo GODO was victorious in all four games to clinch first place in group two. They will face UPONOR ROVIGO in semi-final one, CERVIGNANO and CASTELFRANCO play against each other in semi-final two.
