British Baseball has revealed that Mike Nickeas and Bradley Marcelino will join the coaching staff of team Great Britain at the World Baseball Classic Qualifier in Brooklyn, New York. They will join former MLB closer Trevor Hoffman on the staff, who will be their bullpen coach.

Former New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays catcher Nickeas is going to serve as bench coach. He played for Great Britain during their silver medal run at the 2007 European Championship. Nickeas is currently an assistant coach at Georgia Tech.

Marcelino played from 1999 to 2012 for Great Britain in various tournaments. He is working in his fifth season as assistant coach at the University of San Diego.
