The Bonn Capitals announced on Wednesday that they have re-signed Daniel Lamb-Hunt. He will remain with the current northern champion of the German Baseball-Bundesliga until the end of 2018 season. The 31-year-old New Zealand native has been playing with Bonn for the fifth consecutive year. He is leading the northern division in batting average (.423), home runs (7) and RBI (26) in 2016. Last weekend he was part of the Bundesliga All-Stars which lost 2-3 to the German National Team in the fielders-choice.de All-Star Game. Lamb-Hunt won the home run derby in the final against Gary Michael Owens.
