Max Kepler hit two three-run home runs and drove in seven runs overall in a 17-5 blowout of his Minnesota Twins over the Texas Rangers on Saturday afternoon. The German outfielder was a RBI shy of the club record and set a new rookie mark. He is now batting .254/.323/.482 with five home runs, 11 doubles, 16 runs and 22 RBI in 38 games for the Twins this season. The Berlin native, who signed through the Regensburg baseball academy, made his MLB debut last September and seems to have arrived in the big leagues.
