After the All-Star break the Italian Baseball League continued on Thursday with Unipol Bologna shutting out T&A San Marino 3-0. A RBI fielder’s choice in the first by Osman Marval and an error and a RBI single by Eladio Russo in the eighth plated the three runs. Meanwhile Matthew Zielinski conceded just five hits and a walk in eight scoreless innings for the win. Yoimer Camacho settled in after the first and issued five hits, a run and three base on balls in seven frames, taking a hard-luck loss. Sebastiano Poma had three hits for San Marino, reaching base four times. However the rest of the team managed just three combined hits.
