Posted on June 17, 2016 by philipp

Kinheim has stunned Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam on Thursday in the Dutch Hoofdklasse. Kinheim broke a 4-4 tie in the bottom of the seventh when Sander Paap scored during a double play. Rotterdam just had tied the contest in the top half of the frame. Paap went 3-for-3 with two doubles. Gianison Boekhoudt and Bryan Engelhardt connected for home runs.

Meanwhile L&D Amsterdam, which was swept by the Vaessen Pioniers last weekend, got back on track with a 6-2 victory over DSS. HCAW shut out Pickles UVV 11-0. Ian Delamarre and two relievers kept UVV to six hits. Roelie Henrique went 4-for-6 with three RBI to lead the way. The Pioniers beat De Glaskoning Twins 7-6. Quintin de Cuba scored the winning run in the bottom half of the ninth through a wild pitch. The Twins had a six-run rally in the third, but didn’t score again afterwards.
