The Darmstadt Whippets from Germany have won the baseball tournament at Finkstonball XIX in Attnang-Puchheim, Austria. In the finals on Monday Darmstadt prevailed 11-1 over the Swiss Sissach Frogs. Darmstadt, which is playing in the second division in Germany, went undefeated throughout the event, including a 5-0 shutout over the hosts. Sissach had reached the finals with a 7-4 win over the International Stars. The Austrian National Team won the softball tournament.
