In the Spanish Division de Honor Baseball the Tenerife Marlins continue to lead the standings after five weeks. They improved to 9-1 for the season after 6-0 and 4-2 wins over CBS Sant Boi. Yorfrank Lopez out-dueled Zael Honora in game one. In the second match both teams didn’t score after the third, but an early offensive outburst was all the Marlins needed.
In other matchups the Astros Valencia solidified second place with 5-3 and 1-0 wins on the road against Baseball Navarra. CB Barcelona defeated CD Pamplona 3-2 and 11-4. San Inazio Bilbao prevailed 3-1 and 5-2 over CB Viladecans.
