The interesting results in the German Baseball-Bundesliga continued on the second game day. While the Bonn Capitals and Solingen Alligators improved to 4-0 in the north with wins over the Untouchables Paderborn and the Dortmund Wanderers, the south is looking like a hard-fought playoff race.
After splitting in week one against the Mannheim Tornados, the Munich-Haar Disciples suffered two losses on the road against the Stuttgart Reds, already losing ground in the standings. The Tornados meanwhile accomplished a split against the defending champions of the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe. The Mainz Athletics and Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg picked up easy sweeps before squaring off against each other next weekend.
