Two night games open week two in the German Baseball-Bundesliga on Friday. The Mainz Athletics face the Bad Homburg Hornets in a local derby and the Mannheim Tornados host defending title holder Heidenheim Heidekoepfe at Roberto Clemente Field. Both games start at 7pm.
All teams in the south had to settle for a split last weekend. Additionally to the aforementioned matchups the Stuttgart Reds take on the Munich-Haar Disciples (livestream available at www.sportdeutschland.tv/baseball) and the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg travel to the Tubingen Hawks.
In the north week-one winners Bonn Capitals and the Solingen Alligators square off against the Untouchables Paderborn respective Dortmund Wanderers. The Cologne Cardinals take on the Hanover Regents.
