The French Baseball and Softball Federation (FFBS) announced on Monday that they won’t play in the 2016 World University Championship. FFBS cites the numerous changes of places and dates besides a busy schedule for the baseball national team this year as main reason for the non-subscription. However preparations are already started for a participation in the 2017 World University Championship in Taipei, Taiwan. Last year the World University Championship was held in Gwangju, Korea.
