Former Major League infielder Ronny Cedeno is close to an agreement with the Italian Baseball League club Fortitudo Bologna. He is supposedly the replacement for Carlos Colmenares, who doesn’t want to travel to Italy. Cedeno played over 800 games in the big leagues between 2005 and 2014. The 33-year-old Venezuelan was a member of the San Francisco Giants organization in 2015, splitting time between Double-A and Triple-A.
