The Munich-Haar Disciples have signed a new catcher. William Thorp joins the club to join duties behind the plate together with Jose Palacios, who will return for a second season. The Canadian is coming from the Brisbane Bandits and was teammate with fellow new Disciples Cody Chartrand during his college days at Lewis & Clark. Thorp takes the roster spot from Rufio Schulz, who has left the Disciples. Third catcher is going to be David Wallace. The talented infielder is switching positions.
Thorp signed through the International Baseball Community website with the Disciples.
