According to a report by GrandeSlam.net, ASD Rimini is talking to Jairo Ramos about a contract for the 2016 season. Due to the fact that Alexander Romero probably won’t return to Italy after all and prefers to stay in Mexico, the Pirates have turned to Ramos to fill the power void. The Italian Baseball League veteran batted .151/.219/.163 in 23 games for T&A San Marino last year. Romero meanwhile had a batting line of .388/.470/.490 for the reigning Italian champion.
