Habeck

The Rouen Huskies have announced their first real new addition for the 2016 season. After the return of Anthony Piquet and the re-signing of Larry Infante, the reigning French champion has acquired Marc-André Habeck. The 22-year-old right-handed pitcher is currently studying at Georgia State University (NCAA Division I), playing for the team of former German national team manager Greg Frady.

Habeck is a dual citizen and has both a Canadian and French passport. He is throwing an 86-88 MPH fastball with a slider and a change-up. He is known for his good control. He is expected to join the Huskies after the completion of the semester at Georgia State at the end of May. He played for the French National Team last summer during the World University Championships in Gwangjiu, South Korea.
