Godo Knights withdraw from Italian Baseball League

Posted on November 26, 2015November 26, 2015 by philipp

The Godo Knights are withdrawing from the Italian Baseball League according to Baseball.it. The club, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2015, cites financial issues as main reason for the withdrawal. The club played the past ten seasons in the IBL and hopes to be placed into the Serie A of the Federal Championship. FIBS now has to decide if they find a replacement or if they change the format of the IBL, which was supposed to return to a two-division setup for 2016.
