The runner up in the 2008 Swedish Baseball championship the KARLSKOGA BATS added this week six players from the ÖREBROS club to their roster. ÖREBROS qualified for the Elitserien season 2009 due to winning the promotion series against GOTEBORG, but had to withdraw from their right to compete at the highest level in Sweden.
Pitcher Anders Nygren, the power-hitting outfielder Ruben Garcia, the talented Staffan Uneståhl, outfielder Mikael Ahl, infielder Marcus Staaf, pitcher Stefan Boman and outfielder Juha Roininen will have the chance to play for the BATS next season.
