Czech National Team with Training Camp in North Carolina

4038_01The Czech National Team is going to travel to North Carolina for a ten-day training camp. The coaching staff will be reinforced by Scott Emerson, Tim Edge and Trot Nixon. The roster includes twelve pitchers, three catchers, six infielders and six outfielders. With Alex Sogard on the team it looks like a preview of the WBC Qualifier roster. The Czech Republic will be playing in Mexicali next March against Germany, Mexico and Nicaragua. On the schedule in NC are also eight exhibition games against a number of universities.
